Why AI skills matter
for your high schooler's future

The world they will enter looks very different to today. Here is what the data says.

85% of jobs by 2030 will require AI literacy

AI fluency is now as foundational as reading and arithmetic. Students who can direct AI, not just use it, will be in highest demand.

39% of job skills will change by 2030

The WEF's Future of Jobs Report 2025 projects that 39% of key job skills will change by 2030, with AI and big data topping the list of fastest-rising skills, ahead of every other competency.

A real portfolio piece to open doors

Your high schooler leaves with a working app they built - ideal for university applications, scholarships and future employers.

What schools teach vs.
what the future needs

Australian schools are doing their best - but the curriculum has not caught up to the AI era. We fill the gap.

Current Curriculum
  • โœ•No AI tools. No prompting. No practice.
  • โœ•Data theory. Zero real-world application.
  • โœ•Learn to code. Never build anything.
  • โœ•Ticks the privacy box. Ignores bias.
  • โœ•Future of work? Not in the syllabus.
  • โœ•Design for a rubric. Not a real user.
What Dataavo Teaches
  • โœ“Prompt engineering fundamentals
  • โœ“AI-assisted coding in real tools
  • โœ“Build and debug a working app
  • โœ“Responsible AI and critical evaluation
  • โœ“Pitch your product - real communication skills
  • โœ“Human Centred Design thinking

Our mission: AI literacy
for every young Australian

Dataavo is an AI and data literacy program built for young Australians. Our mission is simple: to make sure no child enters the workforce unprepared for an AI-driven world. We believe every student, regardless of their school, suburb or background, deserves access to the skills that will define the next decade of work.

Ayesha Usman is the co-founder of Dataavo and brings 15 years of experience at the intersection of AI, data and the future of work. She has led people analytics and AI strategy across some of Australia's largest organisations, and is a published voice on workforce transformation and AI equity.

Dataavo was born out of conversations in Ayesha's own community, where parents kept asking the same question: how do we prepare our kids for a world that moves this fast? As a mum, Ayesha felt that question personally. She watched her own children move through a school system that wasn't keeping pace with the world they were about to enter, and decided to do something about it. She built Dataavo because she believes the kids who will thrive aren't just the ones who use AI - they're the ones who know how to direct it.

A laptop or tablet with a browser and internet connection. All tools are free and browser-based. A Zoom link will be sent before each session.
What will they walk away with?

How many students per session?
Maximum 8 students to ensure every student gets personal attention and can move at their own pace.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes! Register two or more siblings and receive 10% off each registration. Email [email protected] to arrange.
